    **NEW TRIATHLON SERIES**

    This is a brand new series and sure to be exciting. Participants will SWIM/BIKE/RUN various distances on a tiered format. We will also offer a Duathlon (Swim/Run) and Aquabike (Swim/Bike) option. Entire course is located within the Aurora Reservoir and safety is our top priority. If you are a new triathlete these events were designed with you in mind. If you are a seasoned triathlete these events are the perfect training session.

    Time: Registration closes at 6PM and Events begin at 6:15PM.

    Transition Area will open at 4:30pm. At this time athletes can set up their transition area, get body marked and receive their timing chip. Events will begin promptly at 6:15 PM, NO EXCEPTIONS. Athletes arriving late will not be allowed to participate and their registration fees will not be refunded.

    Awards will be given for the tri/duathlon/aquabike in the following age groups:
    19-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-59, 60+ / 1st-3rd place for men and women.
    All participants will receive a commemorative race item.

    Timing & Results:
    Timing Results will include swim, transition, and run splits for each participant. There will be separate mass starts for men and women. Results will be posted at the event, and online on the evening of the race at http://www.majrae.com.

    Toll Road Directions: Take 1-25 or C470 to E470 and exit at Quincy Road, Exit #13. Follow Quincy Road East to Powhatan Road which is approximately 2 miles from the exit. Turn right and follow the road to the Aurora Reservoir entrance.

    Non-Toll Road Directions: Take I-25 to I-225 North and exit at South Parker Road and go South. Turn left at Quincy and head East. This road will go under E470 and the entrance to the Aurora Reservoir will be approximately 2 miles from this point. Turn right and follow the road to the Aurora Reservoir entrance.

    After passing through the gate take the first right after the boat storage facility and follow the road all the way back to the parking lot. Registration and check-in are located just outside of the snack bar area at the covered picnic site next to the volleyball court. Registration will close at 6PM and all events will begin promptly at 6:15 PM.

    Cancellation/Refund Policy:

    The safety of all race participants is our primary concern. Therefore, should the race director and/or park staff determine that weather conditions make for a dangerous situation at any time before or during the event, the event will be postponed for up to 30 minutes. If conditions improve the event course may need to be altered. If conditions do not improve and the event is canceled there will be no refunds issued.
