• Description: The race starts at Flint Hills Resources North Pole Refinery on Old Richardson Highway, heading southeast and out to the Chena Lakes Flood Control Project, around a large loop. It returns to the finish line at the refinery. There will be five water stops and plenty of refreshments at the finish area.
  
  - Please note that the Fairbanks Cycle Club and North Pole and North Star Fire Departments will be on hand to help ensure the safety of the runners.
  
  NOTE: Race timing will cease at 12:30 p.m. Runners arriving after 12:30 p.m. will not have an official finishing time.
  
  0900 start time.
  
  *The 8:00 a.m. start time is for walkers or those needing more time to finish the race.
  
  - Anyone starting at 8:00 a.m. will be assigned a minimum finish
  time of 2:30:00.
