• Description: This Sprint Triathlon is held at Georgia Baptist Conference Center located in the foothills of the Northeast Georgia Mountains in Toccoa, Georgia. We are centrally located midway off I-85 between Atlanta, GA & Greenville, SC. (just over the South Carolina line) This is the first triathlon for this YMCA location & is being co-directed by Jim Martin, Director of the Tri the Rock - Rock Hill, Assault on Cherokee & Fort Mill events. The event will be a 500 yard swim in open water (Lake Louise - non motorboat lake), a 13 mile bike ride - loop with gently rolling hills mainly on back country roads. The 3.1 mile (5k) run will be an out & back on country roads.
