• Description: The Over The Dam Run offers Pacific Northwest runners and walkers a great day on one of the most scenic and unique runs in the Northwest. The Over the Dam Run offers 5K, 10K and Half Marathon distances. In this classic running race that has been around since the 70's. athletes run up and over the largest concrete structure in North America - The Grand Coulee Dam, and then out along the Columbia River. All races races start on the east side of the dam. The walk and the 5k go straight over the dam to the west side of the dam, with the 5k finishing at the Colorama festival. The 10k and half marathon go down the columbia river trail out and back and then go the same route as the 5k, finishing for a fun filled day at the Colorama festival. Temperatures typically range in the 60s to 70s.
