• Description: The Run for the Health of It is a 5K and 1mi fun run benefiting UAB's School of Medicine's Equal Access Birmingham (EAB). EAB is a non-profit, medical student run organization committed to providing health care to underserved populations in the Birmingham area. In addition to staffing a free clinic once a week, EAB holds almost monthly health screenings and preventative care workshops in the Birmingham area.   Prizes will be awarded for each age division (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) for male and female as well as the fastest Medical student and Medical professional!
