• Description: Tuscaloosa was home to the 2008 Collegiate National Championship, the 2008 Olympic Trials, the 2009 Age Group and Elite National Championships, and the 2010 Age Group, Sprint and Elite National Championships .In 2011, Tuscaloosa, a city rich in national championships history, hosted the USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships for a thrilling event that brought seventy eight college clubs and individuals from all over the United States striving for a chance to call themselves a national champion. For the 2012 season USA Triathlon will be unveiling a four-person, draft-legal mixed team relay for the first time in the events history. This relay will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, April 21. USA Triathlon has wonderful support from the city of Tuscaloosa and is excited to return to this great southern city for the 2012 season and crowning new national champions.
