• Description: Join Onurmark Productions at 288 Lake this Saturday for our 2nd Aquathlon. We are now putting these on every month (started in March) to help area triathletes have fun while getting in some valuable open water swim practice in a mass start environment.
  
  This event is a 500 meter swim and 1 mile run. The swim course will be clearly marked and the run course will be an out and back where runners stay on the right of cones the entire time. The run is over a groomed trail. We have drinks and snacks for finishers. The first 1-3 of these monthly events will be manually timed. If we can get over 100 racers we'll look at chip timing them and also having separated male and female wave starts.
  
  This Saturday April 23, 2011 is this month's event. Entry is $15 online through active.com. HRTC and OUL members receive $5 off. We have both team roster lists and check registrations so please be honest. Your $15 entry fee includes the normal $7 entry to the lake making this a GREAT deal! Checkin is now at 8:00am and the race starts at 8:30am sharp! We will have a 9:30am free clinic (topic will vary from month to month). The April overall male and female winner will each get a free entry to the Bridgeland Triathlon in August.
