• Description: Short Course: "600-yard Swim, 7-mile MTB, 3-mile Trail Run. This event is designated for beginner athletes with some mountian biking experience or folks who don't want to do as much as the XTERRA. It is open for children ages 10+. Lots of amazing scenery on this course! Located at Hyalite Canyon with a backdrop of glaciated valleys and triangular peaks in the background. Lots of photo-ops for spectators since athletes pass through transition area 3 times. Delicious bar-b-que, a great raffle and groovy awards (pint glasses and growlers by Montana Ale Works) shortly following the event. This will be a chip timed event. Wetsuits are mandatory."
