• Description: ABOUT THE EVENT
  Lace up those running shoes and get prepared to pound the pavement in support of DoveLewis! The beloved Run for the Love of Dove returns this year as a timed 5K run/walk. Runners, both human and canine, at all experience levels are invited to join the fun. There will even be a ½K puppy run for the kids! Lucky Lab in Northwest Portland will serve as both the start and finish line. Post–race festivities include food, drink, entertainment and a silly pet tricks contest!
  
  COURSE DESCRIPTION
  Flat and fast 5K through the neighborhoods of NW Portland! Strollers, dogs, music…it’s all allowed! Dogs must be kept on a leash. There will be photographers on the race course. Race timing provided by AA Sports.

  POST RACE ACTIVITIES
  Stick around after the event to enjoy food, beer and music. The Lucky Lab will donate 30% of beer sales from 9:00AM - 1:00PM to DoveLewis. Cheers! Plus, don’t miss your chance to show “Running Ann Schatz” and other local celebrity judges what your pooch can do. They’ll be judging contests including best voice, coolest trick, best owner/pet look–a–like, best mix and best name. And don't forget to stop by the Providence Health Tent for a complimentary chair massage performed by Kim Payne, LMT of Massage Naturally!
