• Description: The inaugural year debuted with over 2,500 entrants in the Full, Half and Relay. Runners from 36 states and 5 countries participated in the 2011 Empire State race weekend. The course continues to feature Onondaga Lake Park, Onondaga County, Syracuse, Liverpool, and Baldwinsville, New York at its Autumn colors finest.
  
  The Empire State Marathon and Half Marathon will Start at 7:30am and 8am respectively, Sunday Oct.21st from Alliance Bank Stadium Parking Lot and will also finish at the Stadium Parking Lot Area.
