- Description: The Komen Tri for a Cure triathlon is beginner friendly, yet challenging enough to provide a unique experience to the seasoned Triathlete.
Athletes will be required to raise a minimum of $250.00 You will be provided a custom fundraising page to set your goals and we will provides tips for fundraising. The top fundraiser will win a Full Triathlon bike. The bike is currently on display at the Susan G. Komen Affiliate in Chattanooga.
THE SWIM takes place in a man made ski lake. The point-to-point course is 500 yards. While you will not brush your hands along the bottom, if you are not an experienced swimmer, you can stand up in the lake at any time.
THE BIKE winds you on a journey through rural roads in beautiful North Georgia, with an easy climb in the first couple miles, followed by another 8 miles of flat, fast, fun.
THE RUN is two miles of mostly grass winding its way along a scenic creek and the lake you started the race in. Finish in front of all your adoring fans.
