• Description: Situated near the city of Nagoya in the Aichi Prefecture, Japan's fourth largest city, Lixil IRONMAN 70.3 Japan unfolds in the Tokoname City precinct surrounding the Centrair International Airport, a spacious and scenic area south of the city.
  
  The Centrair International Airport will act as the hub of the race course that will traverse Tokoname City and surrounding environments. The event expo, race office and awards banquet will be located inside the airport terminal itself, offering a unique IRONMAN 70.3 experience for athletes and fans alike.
  
  Athletes will swim a 1.2-mile, single-loop open water course that takes place in the Pacific Ocean, between the mainland and Airport Island. The 56-mile, two loop scenic bike course passes through rural area and athletes will encounter several rolling hills with technical turns. The 13.1-mile run course is generally flat and goes across the bridge from Airport Island before returning to the finish line.
