• Description: The “Quarter Marathon” is an M3S Sports signature distance that allows runners and walkers to enjoy “a half of a half.” The course features much of the same characteristics of the Half Marathon course, with runners and walkers starting at the corner of Town St. and Front St., traveling west on Vine Street before heading north on Olentangy River Road. Quarter Marathon participants come across 3rd Ave. to High St., where they are treated to the Short North, Arena District, and Downtown before finishing at the Columbus Commons. But while the race is only half as long, the post-race celebration is the same as the Half, with Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine, Michelob Ultra and Patron Palomas served at the Byers Xtra Mile Finish Line Party. Quarter Marathon participants are entertained by an estimated 25 bands and deejays, and will enjoy 3 aid stations.
