• Description: This special event supports the mission of Go Red for Women, which is to promote awareness of heart disease as the #1 cause of death among women. Our goal is to promote a heart healthy lifestyle for the entire family while educating the low-country about heart disease and stroke which are, respectively, the first and third leading causes of death in the U.S.
  
  The certified 5K course starts and finishes near the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina Pavilion at 20 Patriot's Point Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Post-race celebration will be held at the Pavilion with awards, music, and raffles. Free onsite parking is available. Please park only in designated areas of Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina.
