• Description: The inaugural NorthEast MultiSport Indoor Time trial at Goodales Bike Shop will be a 10K indoor time trail raced on Computrainers and will feature a rolling terrain course. Riders race on their own bikes on 8 laboratory matched Computrainers. Riders will get the exactly same feel as riding on the road which include the same speed, grade, and gearing of the outdoors. Racers will be lined up side by side facing a large screen showing the course profile, each rider’s position on the course, and each rider’s data including their distance, elapsed time, and instantaneous/average/peak speed and power.
  
  The race will be done in heats of up to 8 starting at 10:00am. There will be a total of 10 heats that will start every 40 minutes. The field will be limited to 80 total riders. Additional trainers will be available for warm up, but numbers may be limited. Cash prizes and tons of awards will be given! Cash prizes given to top 3 men and woman overall. $100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd. Products from our sponsors will also be given to the top 3 men and woman finishers in the following age groups: 29 and under, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 and over. Goodie bags including a pint class for the event and food will be offered to each participant.
