• Description: This is a kids triathlon for ages 3-14 that will raise money for local schools.
  
  The Tri 4 Schools race will be held at the Waunakee Aquatic Center in Waunakee and surrounding neighborhood. Safety is our primary concern so we may create a fun race for all participants!
  
  The swim will be held in the indoor pool at the Waunakee Aquatic Center.
  
  The bike course will take place on neighborhood streets and the bike path surrounding the Waunakee Community High School campus. Participants will do one or two loops depending on age, with our youngest athletes completing one loop of a shorter course in the parking lot of Waunakee Community High School. All roads on the bike course will be controlled by police and coned off from traffic. We will also have volunteers helping children and neighborhood citizens stay safe during the event.
  
  The run course will be held on the Waunakee Community High School track. Lap counters will be given so participants can keep track of how many laps they have done. Our 3-6 year-olds will run directly from the transition area to the finish line. The 7-10 year-olds will run two laps around the track (1/2 mile), and the 11-14 year-olds will run four laps around the track (1 mile). Everyone will finish at our finish line on the track!
