• Description: Welcome to the Habitat for Humanity Half Marathon, 5K, and Nick's Kids Fun Run in the city of champions, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. All events will take place along Tuscaloosa's scenic River Walk and the proceeds will directly benefit those whose lives and homes were affected by the devastating tornadoes of April 27, 2011.
  
  We hope you'll join us for the races of hope and resilience as Tuscaloosa, through the generosity of Habitat for Humanity shows the world the promise of its citizenry. Tuscaloosa has a goal to re-build itself better than before much as you have a goal of completing the Half Marathon, 5K, or Nick's Kids Fun Run.
  
  The races will feature rolling hills, beautiful water oaks, and a running tour of the River Walk along the Black Warrior River, Manderson Landing, historic downtown Tuscaloosa, and the University of Alabama's campus. All participants will receive a technical shirt, unique medals for Half Marathon finisher's, music, fun, a terrific post-race party and awards ceremony.
