• Description: The swim is a 750 meter current assisted ocean swim. Participants will swim approximately 100 meters out, then turn parallel to the shore for 550 meters before the 100 meter leg back to the beach. Historically this has been a VERY fast swim.
  
  The bike portion is held entirely on Jekyll Island. The course is completely flat on very good roads. Please be aware that the roads are still open to traffic, though most roads are only lightly used.
  
  The run course takes advantage of Jekyll Island's amazing running paths. The course is an out and back with sections of paved road and beach running. The run is completely flat and gives you every opportunity to keep an eye on your competitors.
