• Description: The Jim McDonnell Lake Swims are hosted by Reston Masters Swim Team and held each year on Memorial Day weekend. Reston Masters has held a lake swim every year since 1988. Except for 1997 and 2002, the swim has been held at Lake Audubon in Reston, VA.
  
  2012 is the 25th consecutive year. In celebration, a 5K has been added to the event. As usual with the Jim McDonnell, entrants are able to participate in all swims. In 2012, a participant may combine swims to accomplish 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 miles over the weekend.
