• Description: The 3rd Annual Semper Fi 5K Race/Walk will be held on Saturday June 30, 2012 in Washington, DC. All proceeds will benefit the Semper Fi Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides crucial medical and financial assistance to U.S. servicemen and women wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as to their families. Entries are limited so please sign up early to lock in a low registration fee and ensure your spot in this year’s race!
  
  Not only will you be participating in a fun run/walk along a scenic riverside course in DC over the 4th of July weekend, you will be helping to make a difference in many lives. Although we would like to think that the government can provide everything for wounded servicemen and women returning from war, many rely on the Semper Fi Fund in order to have family members nearby while they recuperate in the hospital, as well as to help them get back on their feet financially when they return home.
