• Description: Unique to this marathon are the ‘Cultural Music Miles’ – live cultural costumed music performances at various miles along the marathon route will highlight the diversity of Surrey with local performers showcasing the art, music, costumes, food and beverage of the many cultures in Surrey.
  
  The race will begin with pre-show entertainment at the Start Line. Each ‘mile’ along the marathon route will have décor, live music and costumed performers representing a particular culture. There will be miles such as “The Jamaican Mile”… and “The Chinese Mile” with tremendous course décor and satellite stages. There will be stations at each mile (or half-mile in some locations) with entertainment, information and cultural treats.
  
  Whether running past cultural stations to exceptional world music or walking through each mile, you’ll experience the colours and enjoy the passion of the entertainers and supporters at each cultural mile.
