• Description: This is a youth triathlon located at Bayou Black Recreation Center in Houma, LA. The swim portion is in a pool with a staggered start between racers. The bike and run portions are along Southdown Mandalay Rd. The distances vary depending on the participant's age. The 3-4 year old group will perform their bike & run portions on the track around the park.
  
  The distances are as follows:
  
  3-4 years: Swim 25 meters, Bike 200 meters, Run 100 meters.
  
  5-6 years: Swim 50 meters, Bike 1 mile, Run 1 km.
  
  7-8 years: Swim 75 meters, Bike 2 miles, Run 1 km.
  
  9-11 years: Swim 100 meters, Bike 3 miles, Run 1.5 km.
  
  12-14 years: Swim 150 meters, Bike 3.75 miles, Run 2 km.
