  The KMD IRONMAN 70.3 Aarhus begins with a 1.9 km swim from the scenic bay area in Aarhus, a 90 km technical bike ride with rolling hills through the city of Aarhus and a beautiful 21,1 km run on a three-looped run course in downtown Aarhus and through the Marselisborg Forest.
  
  The finish line and second transition zone are located at Tangkrogen, just 3 km from the city center. Tangkrogen is where the action happens, with finish line, T2, expo and registration all gathered in one place. The hot spot on the run course is also at Tangkrogen, where athletes pass aid stations six times on the run.
