• Description: The Silver Beach Triathlon is a “light sprint” designed to give participants a taste of Coeur d’Alene triathlon. The race course features a teardrop swim of ½ mile, a great tune up for long course athletes and a perfect first time course for new athletes who can experience the thrill and safety of a rolling swim start. Athletes looking to put in a short up-tempo training ride will enjoy a bike course that samples the 8.5 mile route also used by Coeur d’Alene’s Olympic and Ironman distance triathlons. A flat 3 mile run along scenic Lake Coeur d’Alene allows athletes to take in the sites as they finish the course with an easy glide.
