• Description: Have you ever been the human to hold a dog's leash while their person runs a race? If so, you've seen what happens when the person runs by - the dog strains at their leash saying "I wanna go, I wanna go, I wanna GO" with every fiber of their four legged being. Being dog lovers ourselves, Race Day Events decided to bring the 6 Legged Race to Madison- a race where the dogs don't just watch, they get to RUN! The 6 Legged Race is a 5K run/walk produced in conjunction with the Dogtoberfest, and a portion of proceeds will go to our charity rescue partner, Dane County Humane Society.
  
  The 5K run/walk starts and ends at Capital Brewery, Middleton WI and uses the trails and streets around the brewery. Water will be provided to the runners and their humans at the end of the race.
  
  All dogs have to run on a leash at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS.
