• Description: Most likely the world’s most breathtaking route: the marathon begins at the beautiful city of Cascaison the famous Bay of Cascais, follows in the direction This Marginal Road, always parallel to the Atlantic Ocean until you reach the town of Oeiras, through your garden, passing by the Palace of the Marquis of Pombal, returning to the road, and now on the banks of the Tagus River. Upon reaching the Lisbon, it enters through the Praça do Comércio, goes downtown to Rossio, passes in front of the National Theatre D. Maria, returns to the waterfront passing by the Santa Apolónia Station, and finally joins the half-marathon route that follows straight until you reach the goal in Parque das Nações.
