• Description: Since 2005, the Best of the U.S. Championship has traveled around the U.S., hosted by fine races at appealing venues from one corner of the U.S. to the other. We've experienced the rolling hills of New England, the city vibe of SoCal, desert flatlands, Florida humidity and more.
  
  Now, the race has landed [for good] at a jewel of a venue in one of triathlon's best-kept secrets, the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Lake Phalen, in the heart of Saint Paul's East Side, has a rich multisport history extending back into the early 1990s. The lake, with its perfect 3.1 mile circumference, is clean and clear and features a charming and surprisingly rolling paved path for the run. Two loops around the lake and an exciting new 3-loop bike course make Phalen the ideal, spectator-friendly location.
