• Description: Now younger ones can experience multi sport racing without the danger of adult sized athletes on the course, while learning to enjoy competing in our beautiful mountains! For kids, aged 6 – 13, there will be fun takeaways for kids and food for racers!
  
  The Kids Du 2 is in duathlon format, comprised of an updated kids bike course and a revamped duathlon experience, 1 mile run, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run. It is definitely off-road biking and not for kids who have not spent time on trails or gravel, but it is not technical, just rough unimproved logging type road. The kids will not be timed, but parents/coaches, you are welcome to time your own competitors if you want splits, etc.
