• Description: Sky Kids Tri gives children the opportunity to try out a triathlon and experience the thrill of a swim-bike-run combination. There are three age divisions — 5 and 6 year olds, 7 to 10 year olds, and 11 to 14 year olds — all competing in age-appropriate distances. The Sky Kids Tri is ideal for children of all abilities: those who have always been curious about the triathlons their parents love to do, those who compete on the junior tri circuit, and those who just want to give a new and exciting sport a shot!
  
  Sky Kids Tri Distances:
  5 and 6 year olds — 50-yd swim, 1-mile bike, half-mile run
  7 to 10 year olds — 100-yd swim, 2.75-mile bike, half-mile run
  11 to 14 year olds — 200-yd swim, 4.3-mile bike, 1-mile run
