• Description: The race will start in Lakeshore Park and consist of three legs: 1.2 mile swim in the Ross R Barnett Reservoir, a 56 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run traversing Rankin County, Mississippi. This combination provides the longest triathlon in Mississippi.
  
  The RyanMan Foundation was founded in 2014 with the mission to support the fight against Childhood Cancer, within the State of Mississippi. The foundation was established in honor of Ryan LaSource, who at the age of 2, has fought and beat Leukemia, twice! The RyanMan foundation is committed to supporting this fight and is organizing the RyanMan triathlon as our main platform in raising money to support this mission.
  
  Every year The RyanMan Foundation determines who the benefactor will be for that year's race. For 2015, the benefactor is the Batson Children's Hospital of UMMC to help fight Children's Cancer.
