• Description: Don't miss their fastest sprint triathlon in beautiful Guntersville, AL, plus NEW for 2017, they are adding an endurance distance (1 mile swim | 32.4 mile bike | 8 mile run.) This race has become the favorite for participants from Beginners to the Elite due to the flat, fast course, great post-race party, and of course the infamous tie-dye shirts and beach towels. This race has held the honor of USAT Sprint National Championship. With the addition of the endurance distance, there is an option for everyone!
  The city of Guntersville definitely gives racers a warm welcome with great community support from local police & emergency management and from local volunteer groups including the Guntersville Rescue Squad, Guntersville Seniors, Local Boy Scout Troop, Canoe and Kayak club and the Parks & Recreation Department
