• Description: This is the first annual Colton Country Classic Duathlon sponsored by Colton Recreation. The event will be held at Higley Flow State Park, 442 Cold Brook Drive, Colton, New York. The running portion will be held on the quiet, paved camp roads within this attractive Park. The cycling portion will feature scenic vistas along the flows of the Raquette River. The running portion is on rolling terrain while the cycling features some challenging hills.
  
  The distances for the event are a 3 mile run f0llowed by a 24 mile bike followed by a 1 mile run. The race categories are individual, military/veteran, 2 person team. Best finishes in age and gender divisions will receive awards.
  
  Participants will receive a tee shirt and goody bag. There will be an included spaghetti dinner the night before the race as well as refreshments at the event.
  
  Entry fees are $50.00 individual, $40.00 military/veteran, $85.00 team.
