The Skinny

Neo Sport is a new addition to the triathlon wetsuit scene. Their first offering is a solid suit based off of the parent companies years of experience in scuba diving wet suits. I found this suit's strong point in warmer waters, as not everyone swims in the early cold water of New England like me. The only issue I had with the suit was a seam the had a loose thread, and Neo Sport said they would take care of it no problem.

Notes

Ease to put on

This suit was quite easy to put on. The shortened legs and extra large openings made putting the suit on quite easy.
ComfortOverall a very comfortable suit. I am not used to the 3/4 length legs, and on colder swims, they were a little cold
BuoyancyThis suit holds its own for warmth overall. It does not add tons of extra neoprene where it is not needed. The suit was quite balanced in the water.

Ease to take off

As much as the shorter legs can give up a little warmth, they definitely show there value when in T1.

Cosmo Factor*

Subtle graphics that do separate it from most of the all black suits.

Overall

Overall, I loved what this suit brought to the table. I cannot emphasize enough that this suit rocks in warmer waters where the water temperatures will be on the high side of wet suit legal temperatures. The shorter legs are more welcome and the faster transitions can be taken advantage of in these races as opposed to cold water races and training.

Father of two, devoted husband, Clydesdale, hope to become just an age grouper someday. Former nationally ranked triathlete (sounds better than it really is, but I like the sound of it). Competing in the 50-54 bracket this year. Have done a 1/2 Ironman tri, a marathon and a bunch of sprint and oly distance races. Member of BT since 12-1-03
