I'm very pleased with this watch - in fact I'd say I love it. I had two Timex run trainers prior to this and they worked fine but were ugly (IMO) and not nearly as intuitive. Plus the Timex requires manual lap counting int he pool. I'm not a big fan of the idea of spending $400 for a plastic watch that will ineveitably fail or become outdated so I was happy with the TomTom as an alternative to the other multisports out there.

Overall, for the hardcore user/ iron man trainer this is not the watch for you. But for the Olympic distance trainer and indoor athlete it is perfect
