If you have the $$$ to spend and intend on racing both Tri's and Road Bikes This may be the Swiss Army Knife you need to do both. Attach some TT bars and race triathlons with the 53-11 gearing you can push High Watts and High MPH. The adjustability of the bars lets you put them where you need them. The seat post mast has it's downs but it is a solid design that actually incorporates some flexibility to add ride quality and comfort into the overall experience.

This is my first road bike, and I admit I took a big leap forward with this purchase, but I think the bike is awesome. The frame is stiff and light and after my fitting (Trek of Estero) the bike is very comfortable. The bike handles great and feels fast (although I don't yet have the engine required to make this machine really perform).
