Great for Bike and run. Swim metrics are average at best. Used the GPS in open 50 m and still very inaccurate. Have not used it in open water swimming yet.
Read MoreThis is a great watch and if something happened to mine I'd run out and buy another one since it is that useful to me. The pool swim tracking is useful but could be improved by adding a drill mode and a way to disable the pop up display after hitting the lap button
Read MoreThis is a pricey piece of equipment but it delivers everything you would need as a triathlete to track your activities. Every other device I've used I thought was lacking something but this is the first I really cannot think of something it does not have.
Read MoreGreat piece of equipment to have in your training bag during training. I owned an older Garmin Forerunner and didn't really use it (I was mainly just running then). With the 910xt, however, I find that being able to track and log my workouts in all three events is a great tool and also motivator. If you have the budget it is definitely worth it.
Read MoreThis is the perfect triathlon watch. It'll do everything you could possibly want for multisport and it's all right in the one device.
Is it worth the price? That's up to you to decide. For $300 on the watch alone ($500 with tri bundle), it is expensive, but I think it's worth it. Just my two cents on this excellent Forerunner 910XT.
Really the only thing I wanted for Christmas (besides Zipps) was the Garmin 910XT. I love this watch. The more I use it, the more I'm attached to it. I'm amazed how it can keep track of my open water swims and my lap pool counts. Those features alone, make it a must buy. I used to move bottle caps along tiles to count pool laps, now I just give my watch a quick look and it is amazingly accurate.

Read MoreI purchased the 910 with the heart rate monitor and ant+ stick. All have been very easy to use. Pool features are great and now I can stop trying to count laps in my head and can concentrate on my form.

My wife picked this watch and HRM set for me as a Christmas gift. It's been the best piece of training equipment I've gotten yet. I also combine it with my speed/cadence sensor for rides, and footpod for treadmill runs. Does everything I need a multi-sport watch to do so far.
