"Good 'extra' information, but not worth the money if you ever intend on using the HR function. Buy the 5.0 or 6.0. You can get either for less than the cost of the 4.0 + the upgrade."BlueChip0528
Ease of use
Great wireless connectivity.
Value
Blackburn claims it is 'upgradeable' for the heart rate function, but the heart rate kit is not yet available. Additionally, the MSRP for the Heart Rate Kit is $75. For this price, you can get the 6.0 version that includes the HR function and an altimeter. The 5.0, not the 4.0, is the best value, by far.
Appearance
Very nice design and looks good on the bike.
Customer Service
Very responsive. Quite helpful.
Performance
Very impressed with ease and consistency of connectivity and information feed.
Strengths
Ease of installation; Wireless cadence, speed.
Weakness
Poor 'upgrade' solution for HR. It doesn't make sense to charge 60% of the purchase price for an 'upgrade' that amounts to nothing more than a heart rate chest strap. The models that include the chest strap aren't comparably more expensive. 'Upgrade' (i.e., heart rate kit) won't be available until later in the year.
