Hard to put on, but once they're on, you'll never have to take them off on the side of the road (when you really dont want to take them off).

Performance

These tires are designed to be puncture resistant (hence the name Armadillo). When you install them, you can see and feel that the center of the tread is much thicker and harder than normal tires. I use these for everything but racing, because I have never had a flat while using them. They are heavy relative to standard tires, but as I said, don't race on them, train on them. Also, they're great on the trainer, as they dont wear away to nothing after a couple hours of spinning.

Tight bead makes them harder to install than standard tire.
