"Good basic HRM for the money. Works fine in the pool, except the chest strap pulls down and away from your body when you kick off the wall."timncheryl
Ease of use
Very easy to use, on screen menu is helpful.
Quality of Construction
Seems constructed as well as any other low cost watch.
Fit
No issues adjusting chest strap. Comes with a bike mount, which is nice.
Comfort
Could wear the watch all day. Chest strap is more comfortable then my last HRM, a Polaris.
Adjustability
Strap adjusts easily. I wear a size M T-shirt though.
Durability
Have only used for one month.
Value
Does everything I need for not a lot of money.
Performance
I'm disappointed that the heart rate zones don't seem to be based on Training Bible zones, although it is referenced as a source. Maybe they are aligned with an older edition. Go to the Sports Instruments web site and look up the manual for more details on the zones they use.
Strengths
Low cost, fairly understandable manual, chest strap works pretty well.
Weakness
Anaerobic Threshold mode does not use Training Bible zones, and you can't adjust the zones (although you can use MHR instead). Zone 2 upper ceiling is lower than Friel's.

Ease of installation
Some of the setup instructions require some careful, if not imaginative reading.
