"$230 Bikesport deal + shipping was cheaper than elsewhere. Everyone raves about this trainer, and I see now that it is going to be well-used for some time. Looking forward to checking out the first Spinervals DVD that comes with the trainer."running4beer
Ease of use
Super easy to use.
Quality of Construction
Construction seems sturdy, but time will tell.
Fit
Would have preferred to keep my rear axle skewer instead of theirs on my bike, but think it'll probably be fine on the road.
Adjustability
Seems highly adaptable to other bikes and easy to crank on the tension.
Durability
New item, time will tell.
Value
Bikesport makes this top of the line fluid trainer cheap enough to be worth it. One ride so far, but this piece of equipment will certainly get a lot of use at my home during the cold Massachusetts winter.
Appearance
Must say, I love the green. :)
Customer Service
Will find out when I call them about the weird assembly. Hopefully will get the original piece (notched cone cup... the one supplied had no notch for an axle) to see if it works with my bike's original parts.
Performance
Great ride so far, very realistic feel going through all the gears. Looking forward to sweating again tomorrow.
Strengths
Solid, performing product.
Weakness
I got a dud assembly, but that was only momentarily confusing, and swapping out a couple pieces with the optional parts was a quick solution.

Ease of installation
Mine seems to have come set up wrong, which was confusing, but subbing out the optional adapter piece and skewer works fine. Needed a little extra time to confirm I wasn't crazy, then figure out what alternative would work, then dig out an allen wrench to make the swap. Still didn't take very long and not much to adjust.
