"For the price, this bike is head and shoulders above most bikes in the sub $3000.00 range. I have drank the so called "Cervelo Kool-Aid" because I will never go back to another brand of bike. I would highly recommend this bike or any of Cervelo's bikes to anyone looking for a new ride. My wife thinks I love this bike more than her(it does stay in our room and she might be right at times) so I would caution anyone out there with an easily jealous significant other when buying this bike."FFjamesW
Ease of use
This bike is super fast! Just push on the the pedals and hold on. I had an old Giant OCR road bike and moving from that to this bike is amazing!
Quality of Construction
Even though this is Cervelo's middle of the road tri bike, they did not spare any details in the construction. I hope to be riding this bike for years to come.
Fit
Took about 45 min to get me fitted. I am 6'1" 185 and 56cm frame fits like a glove. Just changed the seat angle to the forward position today the ride was very nice.
Comfort
Rides great down the road. I prefer the the forward seat position. The saddle is the only gripe I have with the bike. I knew this going into buying the bike which is why I will be getting a Fizik Arione Tri 2 saddle ASAP.
Adjustability
What little adjusting I have had to do has been pretty simple.
Durability
I have only been out on the bike around a half dozen times so can't really tell how she will hold up. From what I have seen so far and what I have heard from others I will be riding this bike for some time to come.
Value
$2100.00 for this bike!?!?! That is a steal. Has been money WELL spent.
Appearance
Sexy! The curves and lines on this bike are beautiful. Since this bike is the 08' Ultegra model is has the black, silver, and white paint scheme. You either love the colors or hate them. Personally, I think Cervelo should shy away form the silver and red of the 2009 models and go back to the black and silver.
Customer Service
I have not had to go through Cervelo yet. But, I will have to plug Cycle Path in Pleasanton, CA for all of the great service I have received from them.
Performance
Pure speed. I can not wait to do Vineman 70.3(my first half)!! Cervelo makes top notch bikes, period.
Strengths
Very nice aero frame, full Ultegra, highly adjustible, looks great, rides smooth, and wants to do nothing but go fast.
Weakness
Pretty weak San Marco saddle and the Shimano wheels are pretty pedestrian.
