Easy. Little installation required.

Easy to follow instruction manual. Be sure to input all profile info and adjust max. HR settings for each sport in order to receive useful HR zone data.

Appears to be well constructed. Friends who have owned their 305's for significantly longer periods also have no complaints.

Excellent. Unit comes complete with longer wrist strap for larger individuals.

(4)

No comfort issues noted.

(5)

Completely adjustable.

(5)

Too early to tell, but it has been dropped several times with no apparent ill effects.

(5)

Exceptional value if you search out the lower prices.

(4)

Slightly bulky but not an issue considering all of the features.

(5)

Excellent. GPS has had no problems locating satellites. No "gaps" in training info.

Allows for transition from one sport to the next without stopping to reset modes. Easy to see screen allows user to choose number and type of data fields present.

HR presets have the potential to be quite inaccurate. Many of the people that I have spoken to who are using the 305 have failed to realize that the assigned max. HR is based on a generalized formula which may produce incorrect HR zone info if not adjusted.
