Ease of use
Easy to follow instruction manual. Be sure to input all profile info and adjust max. HR settings for each sport in order to receive useful HR zone data.
Quality of Construction
Appears to be well constructed. Friends who have owned their 305's for significantly longer periods also have no complaints.
Fit
Excellent. Unit comes complete with longer wrist strap for larger individuals.
Comfort
No comfort issues noted.
Adjustability
Completely adjustable.
Durability
Too early to tell, but it has been dropped several times with no apparent ill effects.
Value
Exceptional value if you search out the lower prices.
Appearance
Slightly bulky but not an issue considering all of the features.
Performance
Excellent. GPS has had no problems locating satellites. No "gaps" in training info.
Strengths
Allows for transition from one sport to the next without stopping to reset modes. Easy to see screen allows user to choose number and type of data fields present.
Weakness
HR presets have the potential to be quite inaccurate. Many of the people that I have spoken to who are using the 305 have failed to realize that the assigned max. HR is based on a generalized formula which may produce incorrect HR zone info if not adjusted.

Ease of installation
Easy. Little installation required.
