"I love this bike. I plan to have it for a while. "Bob1326

I bought the frameset from Bikeisland.com and built this bike up myself. It was my first attempt at building, and despite my inexperience, was fairly easy.

I love this bike. The geometry is nice, I feel comfortable in the aerobars, and I get good speed at race pace. I have short legs (36" inseam on a 6'3" frame) and a long body so getting a long enough TT vs. short enough seat tube is tricky. This works out fine with the components I selected.

For a big rider, I wasn't sure about Carbon so I went with the Aluminum Motobecane. The Carbon fork is great for smoothing out the road.

Like I said, with a long body and short legs, a good fit is tough to come by. This bike fits me REALLY well. I was seriously considering investing a lot more on a custom built tri frame until I tried this frame.

4-5 hour training rides are fine. No discomfort or soreness at all.

I'd like to have horizontal dropouts on the rear, but other than that everything is easy to tweak.

Feels good, but I'll know more once I've had the bike for another year or so.

Sure I could have got a more expensive bike from a more well known tri brand, but I think the price of this build was great. For less than $1,500, I got a reasonably aero frame, Campy Centaur and Shimano Ultegra components, aerobars, and wheels w/ bladed spokes.

I love it. You can't really go wrong with an aggressive Black and Red paint job.

So far so good.

Carbon Fork, low price point, light and reasonably aero.

There is a little flex in the frame around the BB, but I think that may be more an issue of my size and weight (6'3"- 215+)
