"You can practically feel this thing, tight around the lower knee, holding the ITB band in front of the knee and keeping it from rubbing. Obviously, stretching and RICE is the answer to an ITB issue, but in a bind, this thing really came through."daroemer

Seems well made. Doesn't get that much use, and is washable, but seems good.

It essentially saved my marathon for $15. I'd say it was a HUGE value to me and to anyone else nearing an event who has this annoying issue (ITB) come up.

(5)

Light colored. Doesn't stand out.

Had to pay a little extra, but they shipped overnight in emergency after one email.

Amazing. It did exactly what I needed it to. I was training for a marathon, and had a major ITB issue during my last 20 mile training run. I couldn't run more than a mile w/o pain. After a couple weeks of rest (RICE), I tried again, but still had the pain. In a last ditch effort, I purchased the band just before a 10 mile training run (Papa John's 10 miler), and it worked perfectly. I ran a 1:21 with no pain. I rested and tapered the next two weeks, and ran the Nashville Marathon in 4:04 with the band. No ITB pain (can't say "no pain" b/c everything else hurt - ha).

Does what it needs to to prevent ITB pain for someone nearing an event w/o time for full proper healing.

Not really a solution to the problem.
