"There is no BEST SHOE...it's the one that's BEST FOR YOU. I tried Mizuno about 2 years ago, and it's the perfect shoe for me. It has taken me through several big races and thousands of miles of training, and I've NEVER had a single problem with them, this one included."timebaron

This is my 5th pair of Mizunos, and "construction" has never been an issue. In fact, I still have all previous pairs, which are used in various ways, in their retirement phase (mowing, walking, yadda, yadda, yadda).

The people at Bob Ronkers Running Spot in Cincinnati, ALWAYS make sure the fit is perfect, or else they give you several weeks to bring them back to exchange. Mine fit like a glove.

These are a "step up" from my previous models. Although not a RACING SHOE, they are lighter than my other shoes. No hot spots or rubbing places. Very nice.

Nothing really to "adjust" here. They slip on and off I go.

The uppers have never warn out on my previous Mizunos, and these look to be in the same catagory. I'm sure my previous pairs must have 700-800 miles on them, beyond my normal 300-400 or running!

They don't break the bank and for what I paid, I believe they will give me the same value my previous shoes did.

I'm not a big "apearance" person on my running shoes. I'm mostly "performance", and if they happen to look nice too, well, good for me. They are fine.

Have not had to talk to the Mizuno people.

I did the CARDINAL NO NO. I had them less than a week before I ran the Flying Pig Marathon in them. When I first put them on, they already felt "broke in" and in the few runs I did before the race, there were no problems to speak of. They were perfect for the race, and all of my runs since. LOVE'EM!

Light for a training shoe. Priced very reasonable. Just enough support to handle long distance, but nice for short racing too.

Yet to find one.
