The shorts themselves have a soft material construction, only issue is the noted legbands below.

Worked well on bike and swim. only issue may be under wetsuit.

Very Durable especially for larger athletes.

Weakness

The elastic bottoms on the legs can chaf in longer traingings and wears out first.
