Quality of Construction

The seams have 5 threads running through them, and after over 130 hours on the bike and countless swims, I haven't seen a single issue related to construction

Fit

The biggest reason I went with Aero Tech, is that they cater to big and tall riders along with the traditionally sized triathlete. I ordered the 2X and 3X sizes, and found the 3X to be too big, which was quite the opposite of most brands. If anything the, 2X is too big in spots. Im a bit oddly shaped, so the fact that they arent quite a perfect fit is more me than the shorts

Comfort

I love the way these feel tight around the legs and they stay up around my waist. Ive never owned tri shorts before, so this is something I wasn't sure about, but now I can hardly stand to ride without them.

Durability

The shorts come with a warning that they arent intended for daily swimwear, but for training I use them, and have noticed no breakdowns of the bike short material in any way

Value

It is really hard to find big and tall stuff for cycling or triathlon gear. But AeroTech offers high quality products in big sizes (up to 5X for men and women), and I paid $35 for a pair of great tri shorts.

Appearance

Blue is my facorite color, the color of my bike, and all of my favorite workout gear. The fact that they have these great shorts in 5 colors (including 2 different blues) for big guys is pretty nice.

Customer Service

When I called, unsure of what to order, and they helped me size wise by having a big tall guy there talk me through it. I still ordered 2 sizes, but I was confident after the call that one of the two would fit.

Performance

I've used these for 3 triathlons and theyve performed great. The padding is comfortable enough for biking, but dries out quickly after the swim, and you dont feel like youre wearing a diaper like you can with some bike shorts.

Strengths

made available for bigger guys, good color selection, strong fabric and stitching, comfortable

Weakness

Maybe not quite the perfect fit, but I chalk that up to me as opposed to the shorts
