Quality of Construction

Got about 350 miles out of these before they started losing their cushion.

Got some hot spots during longer runs, but then again it's Florida....

Was hoping to get some more miles out of them bfore they lost their cushion, but the uppers held up great.

All the support shoes I saw at JRC were in the same price range

Appearance

The old one were grey and blue new ones are red and white. Wish they had some reflective piping or something for those early morning, late evening runs.

Performance

They got me through 7 months of training, 3 sprints, 1 olympic and a 70.3.

Strengths

Good shoe for the price. Uppers held up nicely through rain, sand, road, and races.

Weakness

These are the most supportive shoes Asics makes (or at least that I've found at the local running stores) and I still had to get orthotics to fix my over-proation ($60).
Not necessarily the shoes fault but maybe Asics could make a more supportive shoe for us over-pronators.
