"Started out with a pair of Asics and had issues with shin splints from the first time out. Thought it was me. When I couldn't bear it anymore, I went to a shop and got fitted with these. Found out the Asics I had were for more pronation, which I didn't have. Bought the Brooks, went for a run the same day...and NO pain. Loved them so much, I bought a second pair 5 months later at a gear expo on closeout. Been great through 2 1/2 marys so far."TriChica

I do light mileage thus far, so it's great for me. My friend says she has problems with the soles wearing out more quickly than she was used to with other brands. But she still loves Brooks.
