"If you are going to buy some Look Keo's I would suggest going right to the Max models. Even though the Look Keo's are great pedals(I have a pair on my second bike now), the Max's are better. They really do offer a nicer platform that you can feel. I believe they will give you more confidence riding, especially out of saddle hammering and intense sprints to the town line sign or finish line.
If you are looking at moving away from Speedplay, make sure you are comfortable with one-sided pedal entry as these are not double-sided like the Speedplays."Gregkl
Ease of use
The pedal hangs naturally in a position so you can clip in without looking.
Quality of Construction
Seems to be very well made like most of Look's products.
Comfort
The platforms feel very substantial under your feet.
Adjustability
Lots of adjustments in cleat and in release mechanism. Plus you can choose from 3 different cleats depending on how much float you want. 0 degrees(black), 4.5 degrees(grey), or 9 degrees(red)
Value
Pricey, but they should last for a long, long time.
Appearance
Looks cool? It's a pedal, what can I say?
Performance
I think these will provide a solid platform and I would think that it would eliminate any "hot spots" that you may have with other systems.
Strengths
Solid platform under your feet. Adjustability. Flexibilty with cleat release angles.
Weakness
None that I can see.

Ease of installation
You use a hex wrench to install them from the back side of the pedal, not a pedal wrench.
